Newsletter

BritView.uk’s daily morning newsletter, the BritView Briefing, is curated by the full editorial team under Editor-in-Chief Jonathan Crawford and delivered to subscribers every weekday. The publication is operated by Calpe Press Ltd., a private company limited by shares registered in Gibraltar (company number 129044), with its registered office at Unit 5, The Watergardens, Waterport Road, Gibraltar GX11 1AA. All editorial decisions, including newsletter content, are made independently of commercial relationships.

What does the newsletter contain?

The BritView Briefing is a daily digest of the most important UK news stories, selected and contextualised by our newsroom. Each edition opens with a lead story summary, followed by curated briefs on politics, business, technology, culture and public affairs.

Every briefing includes original analysis from our specialist correspondents, offering context that goes beyond the headlines. We also feature explainers on complex policy developments, links to our latest opinion pieces, and a cultural pick from Sophie Marlowe, our Culture & Lifestyle Editor. The newsletter is designed to give busy readers a comprehensive overview of Britain’s news landscape in under ten minutes.

How often is it sent and who curates it?

The BritView Briefing is published each weekday morning, typically arriving in subscribers’ inboxes by 7:00am GMT. It is curated by the entire editorial team under the oversight of Editor-in-Chief Jonathan Crawford, who sets editorial policy and standards for all content.

Managing Editor Rebecca Marsh oversees the daily editorial planning and publishing schedule, ensuring each briefing is accurate, timely and well-structured. Thomas Whitmore, our Politics & Public Affairs Editor, contributes Westminster and policy analysis, while Amelia Foster provides business and economic insight. Oliver Reeves, Standards & Fact-Checking Lead, reviews sensitive stories and verifies sources before inclusion. You can meet the full team on our team page.
